Background:
RBC Investments is the wealth management division of the
Royal Bank of Canada. Royal Bank of Canada is one of North
America’s premier diversified financial services companies.
It is Canada’s largest company, with offices in more
than 30 different countries.
The Challenge:
RBC Investments needed a more efficient and effective way
to provide business intelligence and marketing support to
its financial advisor sales channel. Financial advisors were
struggling to get access to the product information that was
necessary to effectively service customers.
The Solution:
ii3 developed an integrated web-based information distribution
service called Fast. This application helps Financial Advisors
get access to the latest industry, product, and sales related
information in a timely and targeted manner. FAST also includes
news feeds and online calculators, and it integrates with
RBC Investments’ field sales software. This gives users
the ability to generate customized proposals and other client
related documents. Financial Advisors are now able to concentrate
on managing the customer’s needs by relying on FAST
for extensive support throughout the sales cycle.
The Results:
• Won the Academy of Applied Arts "Best Design" Corporate Intranet for innovate interface.
• Financial Advisors are more confident in sales situations because of the trust they have for material available on FAST.
• Successful national roll-out.
