Management: Making the Case for Business Utility
Knowledge management initiatives are finally beginning to fulfill their years of promise. KM success is being achieved by setting attainable goals pegged to an overall business strategy. Academic mega projects have been laid to rest by a disciplined focus on incremental gains in quality and productivity. While this approach may lack the sex appeal of earlier grandiosely nebulous initiatives, they have the advantage of being firmly grounded in reality. This workshop will include looks at real-life examples of KM successes and failures. Participants will also participate in breakout sessions focused on their organizations’ KM needs; participants will then present their solutions to the complete group for feedback.
