ii3 launches major enhancement to Personal Learning Network e-learning management system for RBC Financial Group
November 28, 2003
ii3 has launched an exciting new curriculum viewing feature on the Personal Learning Network (PLN), an e-learning management system that was custom developed by ii3 for RBC Financial Group. The curriculum view was developed by ii3 to provide PLN learners with a powerful new way to view and access courses and activities available on PLN.

"Understanding that learners need to learn in different ways, this new feature allows the bank to deliver training to their employees in a way that is more conducive to the particular training needs of specific groups within RBC" says Sam Chan, ii3 Program Manager. ii3 helps manage the RBC Financial Group National Investment Review program on the PLN platform to a successful conclusion
November 25, 2003
ii3 provided program management and support related services to RBC Financial Group for the completion of one of the banks most important annual employee exams, the National Investment Review (NIR). The program encompasses over 10,000 bank employees taking the NIR exam, within a one-week period, on the banks Personal Learning Network (PLN) e-learning Management System. This annual program puts high levels of stress on the PLN system during a critical time, requiring ii3 to carefully plan and execute a comprehensive program that ensures all 10,000 employees complete the exam within the prescribed timeframe.

"Our goal each year with the NIR program is to ensure the user has as pleasant an experience as possible during this especially stressful time of year for the user. In order to achieve this goal, we had to carefully align the communications, operational aspects, support, and technology" says Sam Chan, ii3 Program Manager. "ii3 has once again proven the importance of comprehensive program planning to ensure the operational side of NIR works in harmony with the technology".

The National Investment Review annual exam is a requirement of all bank employees selling investment related products. The PLN e-learning management system, developed and supported by ii3, is the platform of choice for deploying the exam in an efficient and effective manner.
