The Globe and Mail’s Grant Buckler surveyed adoption
of KM in the law firms. Among the firms singled out
for their activities, is one of ii3’s clients

Yesterday, at their annual awards gala the e-Content
Institute honoured twelve exceptional products with
Canadian e-Content awards. AdvanceKnowledge,
a product developed by ii3, won for the Best
Collaborative Tool 2003 award.

a law firm, the product brings an extensive selection
of trusted internal and external resources together
in one interface." AdvanceKnowledge allows staff to

Cancer Care Ontario and ii3 launch Interchange, an Enterprise Knowledge Portal

ii3 is pleased to announce the launch of Cancer Care
Ontario’s Interchange, an Enterprise Knowledge Portal.
"We are pleased to have been selected to play a lead
role in the groundbreaking Interchange initiative" says
Shy Alter, ii3’s CEO. As the knowledge implementation
partner, ii3 played a number of critical roles in Interchange
as consultants, technologists, managers, and an active
part of the Cancer Care Ontario team.
Interchange is an integrated knowledge management initiative that includes the people, processes and technology to ensure the effective knowledge sharing and collaboration required for Cancer Care Ontario to meet their goals of redefining the way the system works. (see Case Study).

ii3 Selected by Leading Canadian Law Firm to Work on Enterprise Knowledge Portal

ii3 has been invited to work with one of Canada’s leading law firms on the development of an Enterprise Knowledge Portal strategy. "This is a very exciting project that gives us an opportunity to work with another recognized leading firm in the area of knowledge management" says Jamie MacKay, ii3’s Client Services Director. "This firm has a comprehensive Enterprise Information Portal already in place and we have been asked to help take it to the next level in knowledge initiatives."
The engagement begins with an enterprise taxonomy initiative that will bring the firm’s various knowledge repositories into one place, through one understood and accepted classification system.
